Biratnagar, 16 Aprill . An art exhibition titled “Lyrical existence”hosted by North South Collectives concluded yesterday. NSC is thankful to the artist Hari Om Mehta and all those who attended the exhibition and support ed us.
North South Collectives (NSC) is a centre for social and policy research based in Biratnagar. As part of its activities, NSC in collaboration with partners organized a solo art exhibition by artist Hari Om Mehta on history of Nepal including Tarai- Madhesh. Honorable Minister of Ministry of social Development , province 1, Mr. Jeevan Ghimire inaugurated the exhibition. The exhibition was open from 13th to 15th April (chaitra 30 to Baisakh 2). More than 150 people , particularly intellectuals and artists observed the exhibition. The exhibition was concluded with a discussion on paintings of Mr Mehta by renowned painter Mr Gopal Kalakari. He appreciated Mr Mehta for bringing out “pain of Madhesh” through his paintings.
