‘ Modi Kahin Nahi Jayega’–How Rahul Gandhi’s Maha Rally at Ramlila Proves Modi Is Going Nowhere, and Why the Gandhi Scion Should Quit If He Has Any Shame Left.

1st November 2026 will go down as the day the failed scion of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty tried to take the nation for a ride with his favourite fable — ‘wolf will come’ — and ended up making a self-caricature of himself

Vivekanand Jha: Rahul Gandhi had promised to mobilise ten lakh people to Ramlila Maidan for his so-called regime-change rally, a desperate design to depose the Modi government. What arrived was barely twenty thousand. That single number punctured all his daydreams of marching into 7, Lok Kalyan Marg.

What we saw on stage was not a serious opposition presenting a concrete alternative action plan to win the people’s approbation. It was a circus jamboree. A congregation of discredited dynasts. A cancelled cheque like Mamata Banerjee — a leader so reviled today that not a single Durga Puja pandal in Bengal invited her or her bhaipo this Puja — was given the mic to speak balderdash that was more entertainment than politics. Leaders who find no stage in Kolkata found one in Delhi.

It was an assemblage of the disgruntled, the discredited and the desperate, all pushing the agenda of George Soros and his collaborating partners to overthrow a democratically elected government — a government elected by Hindus. Sanjay Raut, another loudmouth whose credibility is finished, had claimed that Rahul’s return from Vietnam — though speculation is rife that he actually went to meet Zakir Naik in Malaysia — would trigger regime change. Ramlila proved what it really triggered: zero.

In fact, the biggest achievement of the Ramlila rally is a big zero.

This rally vindicates what I was told years ago by Shri V.S. Sampath, former Chief Election Commissioner of India. He had assured me about the infallibility of India’s robust institutional mechanism to nip in the bud even the vilest attempt to hijack Indian democracy. Rahul Gandhi failed to judge that robustness. All his bravado collapsed.

Worse, he has lost even the remnants of faith that his own supporters had reposed in him. He had egged Congress workers across the nation that their flocking in droves to the national capital on 1st November would be the consequential trigger for the deposition of the Modi government, which he accuses of destroying so-called ‘Bhaichara’ while running his ‘Nafrat ki Dukan’. He came a cropper. He had to eat his own words. He dampened the enthusiasm of his own cadre.

Paradoxically, the same man who declares he has no caste and is above the caste matrix went berserk demanding a caste census for Hindus, with the prima facie objective of dividing Hindus for vote-bank politics. He proclaims he will not allow Modi and Shah to go anywhere — a laughable comment that smacks of the idiocy of a man who understands no politics despite being in politics for two decades and belonging to the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty.

This is also where his ‘Hindu First’ hypocrisy stands exposed. How else does one explain that Hindu traders and businessmen beseechingly requested him to postpone his rally till after Diwali, and he condescendingly set aside their fervent prayer in unconscionable hubris? Like a child demanding a toy, he wanted the prime minister’s chair, and insisted on holding the rally on 1st November, scuttling the festive spirit and sanctity of Diwali. Remember, this is the same man who exercised a brake on his Bharat Jodo Yatra during Christmas in 2025. Hindus are watching. Hindus are no longer gullible. They can see through the subterfuge.

He is the spoiled brat of the Gandhi-Nehru family who thinks the prime ministership is his birthright and seeks to bulldoze the collective aspirations of the nation. In this author’s view, if Narendra Modi is the Bismarck of the twenty-first century — the beloved prime minister, one and only — Sonia Gandhi is the Marie Antoinette of India, whose sole agenda is to see Rahul step into his father’s shoes.

That agenda now stands scuppered for all time. Even the last vestiges of hope of his mother stand shattered. Rahul Baba stands disillusioned today. He has lost all credibility in the eyes of the vast majority of Hindus who stand alienated from him forever. Mungerilal ke haseen sapne can never be actualised.

The congregation at Ramlila Maidan is the ultimate reminder that Rahul Gandhi is the pied piper taking the Congress to impending doom. At this rate, Congress will fail to win even ten seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh election and will win less than forty seats in the 2029 General Election.

Rahul has written his own political obituary by taking on the most popular political face of the nation. The message from Ramlila is clear and loud: ‘Modi Kahin Nahi Jayega’.

It is high time Rahul Gandhi goes. He should leave politics and promote a new face from outside his own family.
