Deputy Prime Minister Yadav met with Chinese Health Minister in  Geneva

Kathmandu, 21 may .  Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav has said that the goal of controlling rubella within the next two years has gone ahead. Speaking at the 72th meeting of World Health Organization, he said this.

In the conference organized by the ‘Universal Health Coverage: with the slogan Living No Way Blind’, Deputy Prime Minister Yadav said that Nepal had done the eradication of Trakoma in the previous year only. He also said that Nepal is committed to achieving a consistent goal with the health of sustainable development

.Speaking at a meeting of Health Ministers of 194 country’s Health Minister Yadav said that undeveloped nation like Nepal should bring health agenda to the mainstream and reduce the cost of medicines to achieve sustainable development goals. He also said that the promotion of quality health services should be increased. He said that there is a need for global partnership in the health sector.

Meet Chinese Minister

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Yadav has met with Minister of national Health Organization in China Ma syaovele. During the bilateral talks held at the Geneva Convention, it was discussed about relations between the two countries.

Talking about issues related to sharing in health sector between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry said.

Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister Yadav addressed the health program of women children and teenagers organized by 8 countries including Nepal.
