
Kathmandu, 27 September. The Present Deuwa government had announced a high-level committee to investigate the boarder land occupied by china. This committee has submitted its report. The case of Nepalese land encroachment by China has been confirmed. However, this report has not been made public. But it is said that Nepal China border is definitely disputed.
The committee formed under the leadership of Jairaj Acharya, co-secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs to study the Nepal-China border problem, has submitted its study report to the government. The Committee has presented its report to the Home Minister Balkrishna Khand on Sunday. The conclusion of the report is – there is a problem in the Nepal and China border, the problem will have to be resolved through the inspection group and expert group.
The Government had formed a committee under the leadership of Acharya, the co-secretary, on the 16th of August. The committee was given the responsibility of studying the boundary area from Limi-Lapsa to Hilsa located in Humla district Namkha village municipality. In the study team, Deputy Director General of Napi Department Sushil Dangol, Senior Superintendent of Nepal Police Umeshraj Joshi, Senior Superintendent of Armed Police Pradeep Kumar Pal and Co-Research Director of National Research Department Kishore Kumar were among the members.
The committee has prepared a report covering the subject related to geographical, social, cultural, physical background and boundary of the said area. Receiving the report presented by the committee, Home Minister Khand said that the government is ready to implement the suggestions received on priority. Home Minister Khand has also thanked the study committee for completing the research work after reaching the difficult place.
