Birgunj (Nepal). As part of celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Consulate General of India in Birgunj organized the third “Open House for Consular Grievances” in the premises of the Consulate on 26 February 2022. The Open House was chaired by Consul General Nitesh Kumar. The purpose of the event was to redress the non-routine consular grievances of the aggrieved Indian nationals living in Nepal. Around twenty Indians working in Parsa and Bara districts including the COO, GM and AGM of Hulas Steel Industries Limited attended the event and got their grievances redressed.
