Rajjiya, Hetauda, Nepal, October 23, 2026: A meeting on the occasion of Dussehra brought together spirituality, literature and India–Nepal friendship at Rajjiya in Hetauda, where prominent industrialist and philanthropist Ajaya Raj Sumargi and members of his family sought the blessings of spiritual guru Swami Sitaram Khanal Ji.
The occasion also marked a cordial interaction between Sumargi family and Prof. S. S. Dogra, a senior journalist, author and media educator who travelled from Delhi. Arun Sumargi, Ajaya Raj Sumargi’s younger brother and Chairman of Hetauda Academy, was also present.
During the meeting, Prof. Dogra presented a copy of his fifth English-language book, WOW – Words of Wisdom, to Ajaya Raj Sumargi. Published in the context of an international literary conference held in 2024 at a college affiliated with Tribhuvan University in Pokhara, the book brings together inspirational thoughts, positive perspectives and reflections on life values.
The interaction covered spirituality, education, literature, business and the importance of strengthening cultural understanding between India and Nepal. Opportunities for knowledge-sharing, mutual cooperation and the promotion of global brotherhood were also discussed.
The meeting highlighted the role of spiritual and literary exchanges in fostering people-to-people connections and strengthening the longstanding cultural ties between the two neighbouring countries.
