Manoj Banaita, Siraha, May 2 : A boy took his own life in Udaypur, Gaighat (Province -1) the nearest city to Lahan, Siraha. The teen aged boy killed himself by hanging in a quarantine centre in Udayapur district on Thursday night.
“The deceased as Suman BK (18) of Guranse in Rautamai Rural Municipality-7 in the district.”officials identified.
DPO said, ” Both BK and his wife had been staying in the quarantine centre but separately. They were in the quarantine of Rajabas since April 23. They had arrived in the quarantine from Kathmandu.”
Locals said,”BK hanged himself with the shawl belonging to his wife who was sleeping.”
Police informed that it was yet to establish the motivation behind the suicide. The deceased body has been sent to the District Hospital for the postmortem, Superintendent of Police (SP) Bir Bahadur Budhamagar informed.The source of police stated that the further investigation is in progress.
