The Disaster: CORONA : Diwash Todi

Diwash Todi, Dharan, Nepal The world was fast and busy as usual when suddenly everything pauses. Its nothing but Corona outbreak.

The word that no one is unknown of today is Corona. Corona has come to our lives as a disaster. It seems as a result of all of our sins. A tiny virus has paused the entire world. We talk about development, we talk about economy, but when it comes to our life, nothing matters.

The result of Corona is that we are locked in our own houses. As far as I know, what most of us do sitting inside our house is watch TV and use cellphones and in rare cases, some of us go for self development activities. During Corona outbreak, words like ‘quarantine’, ‘isolation ‘, ‘pandamic’, ‘social distancing ‘, ‘lockdown’, etc are hovering around our minds. As we are going through a lockdown, the only possible connection to the external world is the news channels on the TV or through mobile networks.

I think during quarantine period, introverts are having the time of their lives but extroverts may be suffering. Even if extroverts suffer, they still do not dare to step out of their houses as the virus does not care. The virus does not know partiality, it doesn’t care what your conditions are and the only thing that matters to it is its survival and it can only survive in bodies like ours.

We are fighting for our survival, but in Corona virus’s point of view, the virus itself is also pathetic because the virus itself is too fighting for its survival. But the question is ‘Who is winning ?’ and the answer depends upon how we respond to the virus and the best response would be staying at home.
