Lonely Lockdown. Karuna Onta
Uptight I feel during this lockdown
Fear I the virus to hit us all around
Warns my mother to not haste out
Cuddles me to read all books out loud
Six is my age, home feels like a cage
Sadden I so much unable to see my best mate
Too little I am for a smart phone, says dad
Watch only I cartoons comfily on my mummy’s lap
Love thy kisses hugs all evening and morn
Find though my desires all shattered and torn
Go, I wish, I could to my joy school
Play, push, and run until I see the moon
Slide and glide breaking all those rules
Rejoice all besties with cookies and balloons
Free mamma and papa from minding me till dawn
Happy may we all be with this foe virus forever gone
