Former King Gyanendra Shah has said that democracy cannot survive without Monarchy . He said this while issuing a greeting message on the occasion of Dasain today. He claimed that democracy cannot run in a nation like Nepal without a monarchy . Without naming any political party, he blamed the present politics for the unbearable present condition of the country. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the current foreign policy.
He also said that the past situation of the country forced him to assume a different responsibility. So that he indicated the situation to deteriorate further. He added more on this that democracy cannot run without monarchy and monarchy also can not run without democracy . After the end of the monarchy, he has said this for the first time in favor of the Kingship. Former king Shah believes that people will now support the side of the Raj Sanstha.
