September 29, 2021, Birgunj. As part of celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (India @ 75), the Consulate General of India in Birgunj organized a panel discussion
on the topic “Development partnership between India & Nepal and its
limitations” inside the chancery premises on September 28, 2021. The consisted of Shri Ashok Baid, President of Nepal-India Cooperation Forum and a Prominent industrialist, Shri Indu Shekhar Mishra, Rtd.
Professor of Economics from Thakur Ram Multiple Campus, Birgunj, Shri Lalan Dwivedy, Ex- Campus Chief of Thakur Ram Multiple Campus, Birgunj, Shri Sachchidanand Singh, Lecturer of Hindi from Thakur Ram Multiple Campus, Birgunj and Shri Nitesh Kumar, Consul
General of India.
The Officers and other members of the Consulate were
in attendance during the discussion.
The Panelists expressed their views in a candid manner and agreed to hold similar discussion in future.
