Birgunj,30 July. As part of celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Consulate General of India in Birgunj organized the Eighth”Open House for Consular Grievances” in the premises of the Consulate on July 30th, 2022. The purpose of the event was to redress non-routine consular grievances of aggrieved Indian nationals living in Nepal.Teachers working in Gyanda and Akshardham Schools of Janakpur got their issues related to registration and renewal thereof redressed. The Consulate onserves Open House on last Saturday of every month. The next Open Consular House will be held 27 August, 2022. The Consulate appeals to the Indian citizens living in the districts of Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Dhanusha, Mawanpur and Chitwan to get themselves registered with the Consulate at the earliest. They can also approach us for availing any other Consular Service and redressal of grievances.
