Manoj Banaita Siraha. Dumping issue in Lahan has publicised throughout the nation. Due to the recent dumping site, inhabitant of Lahan-4 have been suffering from different types of skin diseases. Locals complained frequently to the mayor, Muni Sah but resulting nothing. Finally, Locals of Lahan 4 started revolution against the Mayor. Ward president of Lahan 4, Ram Nath Pandit said ,” Mayor Sah is not sensible about our problems. We requested him to change the location of dumping site but he does not listen to us. He vowed much before election but now he has been changed. He most often vows for prosperous Lahan but behaves just opposite of it” He accused on mayor that when he complained, he was kicked out of his cabin. The inhabitants of Lahan 4 had stopped the garbage loaded tractors and requested not to throw beside the village area but the drivers had unloaded garbage at the gate of ward office. Next day, when the locals stopped, they parked the vehicles on the road. Garbage loaded tractors are still on the mid of road. Due to the stinking problems, local women started broom stick rally yesterday. They revolted against Mayor Sah. “Talks is in progress”, said an official of Lahan Municipality.
