Raipur. In Naxal-affected district of Chhattisgarh, in Dantewada, the Naxalites attacked BJP convict Bhima Mandvi’s on Tuesday afternoon. In this blast, 3 PSOs, including the driver of the vehicle have died. DIG Anti-Naxal P Sunderraj has confirmed the death of Bhima Mandavi. It is being told that the Maoists targeted the BJP leader’s convoy by blasting the IED. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has convened a high-level meeting after this attack.
Police officer said that the convoy of Bhima Mandavi had left from Bacheli today to Qaqonda. When the convoy was close to Shyamagiri, the Maoists exploded in the landmine. This convoy included the BJP MLA Bhima Mandvi’s car. In this blast the MLA’s car got hit. The vehicle was damaged in this incident. After the incident, the Maoists also fired. In the attack, BJP MLA, three PSO jawans and one driver have died. let us know that Dantewada comes inside the Bastar Lok Sabha seat. The voting in the first phase of Dantewada is to be held on April 11.
