New Delhi – Former Director of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Eye Centre, AIIMS, Dr. Rajvardhan Azad, world-renowned retina specialist, has released his latest epic poetry collection “Āyushya” at a prestigious event in the capital.
The book was discussed by eminent personalities including former MP and poet Janardan Dwivedi, JNU Professor Vandana Jha, and others, who hailed it as a poetic document of Indian life, society and culture.
Dr. Azad, who has performed over 30,000 retinal surgeries worldwide, blends his medical precision with poetic vision. Āyushya captures the journey of human life from birth to death, reflecting on family memories, traditions, spirituality and social realities.
Known for earlier works like Neem Ka Shahad, Aarambh and Poems on Board, Dr. Azad’s writing spans both Hindi and English, establishing him as a versatile voice committed to meaningful social change.
