Governor Koshyari inaugurates All India Flag Day for the Blind

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari inaugurated the All India Flag Day for the Blind by making his donation to the Flag Fund at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tuesday (14th).

The Flag Fund Collection Drive was launched by the Maharashtra Unit of the National Association for the Blind (NAB), an organization working for the education, skill development and rehabilitation of the blind and visually impaired.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor assured that he will use his good offices to secure enhanced government grant for the residential school for the visually impaired, the Hearing Impaired and Multi disability centre and other projects of NAB.

Rameshwar Kalantri, President, National Association for the Blind, Maharashtra, Suryabhan Salunkhe, Vice President, Gopi Mayur, Honorary General Secretary, Bhavesh Bhatia, Mangala Kalantri, CA Vinod Jaju, Mukteshwar Munshettiwar and others were present.
