When Brahmins are the jewels in the nation’s crown.

The latest inscription appearing in graffiti in JNU to drive out Brahmins from its campus, is the vindication of the greater malaise to finish the intelligentsia class of the nation.

Vivekanand Jha Ranchi: Brahmins, notwithstanding their omissions and commissions in the past centuries, have always been on the forefront of the nation in securing its geo- political and strategic interest. In ancient India, the saints and seers, the Brahmin class, took to divinity in quest for unraveling the truth, were also involved in strategic thinking pertaining to statecraft. For instance, the enlightened sage like Vasishtha, the wise adviser of King Dasrath in Treta Yuga, was the primary brain behind the statecraft. Significantly, dawning the role of sentries to protect the nation from an external onslaught and internal rebellion, Brahmins continued to play the pivotal role to ensure the immunity of the nation from the aforesaid menace. Also, when the Buddhists’ invasion upon the Sanatan Dharma, when the onslaught of the worst degree was unleashed upon, great Adi Shankarachsrya, the Brahmin of the highest class rose in staunch defence of Sanatanis–he single handedly sought to reconvert the geographical entity of Bharatvarsha into that of the eternal land of Sanatanis. Brahmins, the intelligentsia class of the nation, for all times, were the strategic brains behind safeguarding the strategic and tactical interest of the nation to the best possible extent.

The overwhelming strength of plenipotentiary role of Brahmins was adequately apparent to Alexander when he engaged himself in debating with Dadamis, the knower of Brahman. Significantly, Dadamis not only ingratiated Alexander into the higher stage of philosophical evolution, but showed him the incredible spiritual power of India–how the Greek history chronicles the details of Dadamis volunteered to be consigned to fire with the incredible sense of equanimity. This spectacle of Dadamis reducing himself to ashes was both unseen and unheard of in the annals of history. Unequivocally, it was Brahmins who took to evolving India’s innate and intrinsic power of spirituality for the betterment of humanity. The discovery of OM, the Cosmic Consciousness, was engendered by the Brahmin sage, which NASA today has empirically established. Incidentally, while Brahmins persisted in their avowed mission to unravel the mysteries of the universe, they remained diligent, as and when the situation so evolved, in discharging their duty towards the society, in whatever way it was required: The famous episode involving Dadhichi to donate his bones for killing the demon Tarkasur, continues to remain in the folklore of the glorious inspirational sacrifices which were made by Brahmins in every age and era.

Moreover, when Goa fell to the rule of Portuguese, the latter innovated with a clever stratagem: they would throw the beef into the wells from where Brahmins would drink water. Significantly, the underlying rationale was that, if Brahmins could be coerced into converting into Christians, the Hindus at the lower strata of society, would invariably follow suit. Thus Portuguese adopted even the greater potential tool to convert Goa into the land of Christians. Even in the recent years, a Brahmin IITian from Kharagpur( name withheld for the obvious reason) was dangled the carrot to convert: he was offered the post of papacy, along with the prospect of staying with Pope in Rome for few months, if he converted to a Christian. When he was offered the same twice, the concerned man asked the reason for the same. He was told my the Father that, being a Brahmin and, that too, highly educated, if he converted, thousands will follow suit. Significantly, the message embedded in this episode is this: Brahmins lead the Hindu society and, therefore, irrespective of fallibilities and inherent deficiencies, they still represent the intelligentsia class of the nation.

In the wake of return of Swami Vivekananda, from USA, after he had preached the importance of Sanatan Dharma to the world, he was outrageously questioned by the Brahmins, ‘ Who gave you the right to champion Hinduism in such an august forum?’ The great Swami( Naren Dutta, before he assumed the name of Swami Vivekananda) burst forth, ‘ I trace my descent to that almighty lord at whose feet thousands of Brahmins offer their flowers’. Brahmins, since ages, unleashed the tyranny upon those who languished at the bottom of the social pyramid. Unequivocally, the degree and magnitude of horror of such atrocity, contributed to the conversion of people into Muslims. This too is the gory fact which cannot be glossed over. Further, Brahmins, in their diabolical endeavours, mischievously sought to arrogate themselves the right to learn Vedas and Upanishads, thereby placing taboo in the path of others to follow suit. Worse still, the doctrine of untouchability was fuelled by the discriminating attitude of Brahmins: their entry to temple was illegitimately debarred. Small wonder then, Brahmins, over ages, ruptured the social fabric by institutionalising the social pyramid based on the caste and creed.

In the wake of independence, with the establishment of democracy, the power shifted from Brahminical class to that of Hindus at the bottom of the social pyramid. The policy of Reservation, unfortunately imposed by the then prime minister, Vishwanath Pratap Singh, ironically sowed the seeds of the humongous division within the Hindu society. The reservation broke the backbone of Brahmins as it strangled the meritocracy in India. Nonetheless, the Brahmins, despite being sought to be disempowered substantially, continued to represent the intelligentsia class of the nation. The thinking class, the strategic community was sought to be systematically reduced as toothless tiger, yet their intelligence could not be stifled. Further, the divisive forces seeking to break the nation, feel that Brahmins, the intelligentsia class in today’s perspective, remains the main stumbling block. Jai Bhim and Jai Mim, the fissiparous forces has left no stone unturned to strangle the thinking prowess of Brahmins to completely marginalise them; to emasculate then beyond repair. Their formidable enemy, Brahmins, if defeated and pulverised, India can be fragmented into different parts. Hence, Brahmins should be destroyed first, before the destruction of massive scale and magnitude is unleashed upon India.

JNU, the citadel of anti- India conspiracy, has become obvious when Kanhaiya Kumar had, unabashedly, with the sense of impunity, had given a slogan, ‘ Bharat tere tukde honge insah Allah, Insah Allah’. Ironically, the same Kanhaiya was elevated as the national leader today. And, Congress Party is the party which has embraced him, after the traitorous Communists had done it before. The same humongous conspiracy continues unabated: with the latest inscription in graffiti, giving a clarion call to the Brahmins to leave the JNU campus, and subsequently India, is the mischievous design to attack India’s intelligentsia. No wonder, it is this heinous conspiracy which needs to be nipped in bud, on a war footing. The government should take the firm and concrete steps to nip in bud this evil which, if allowed to persist, will result in the the far bigger chaos to be unleashed upon the nation in near future.
