The Consulate General of India, Birgunj, organised a seminar on “Incredible India: Educational Excursion to it’s various States” on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Hotel Vishuwa, Birgunj.
More than 200 persons, comprising of School/College’s Founders, Principals, Directors, School Administrators, ECA Coordinators from Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Makawanpur, Chitwan and Dhanusha districts participated in the event.
Shri Vijay Kumar Sarawagi, Mayor of Birgunj Metropolitan City, inaugurated the Seminar by lighting a lamp. Shri Ramesh P. Chaturvedi, Acting Consul General gave his opening remarks.
Dr. Kotraswamy M., Consul (ECC), gave a detailed presentation on the importance of educational tours.
Shri Vinod Kumar Loshali, Consul (PCS),
briefed on various sites for educational tour in the state of Uttarakhand.
Representatives from Incredible World Pvt. Ltd. gave presentations on various destinations for Educational Tour in the Union territory of Andaman & Nicobar and the state of Goa. They also briefed on two model tours involving Golden Triangle (i.e. Delhi-Agra-Jaipur) and Mumbai-Goa.
Performers from City Dance Academy showcased cultures of Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab and Gujarat with the tourist destinations of respective states in the background.
There was an exclusive question and answer session at the end of the program to address the doubts of participants.
The Seminar ended at 1600 Hrs. with distribution of Certificates of Participation to each participant.
