The Ministry of Health has for the first time officially confirmed the death due to corona virus infection in Nepal. A 29-year-old woman from Sindhupalchok died last Thursday from corona virus infection. Sameer Kumar Adhikari has given information.
The woman, who gave birth to s baby at the TRI Teaching Hospital on April 7, died on the way to Dhulikhel for further treatment due to respiratory problems, the ministry said.
The ministry said further details had been obtained and tests showed a corona virus infection. This is the first case of death from corona virus in Nepal.
