Kathmandu-Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the citizens of Cambodia to visit Nepal.
Oli, who is on the visit of Cambodia’s called on the Nepal-Cambodia Trade Forum on Tuesday.
PM oli said that Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. He also said that Cambodia is also Buddhist country and Lumbiny may be the strong base to strengthen relation between the both countries.
96.9 percent of Cambodian have the Buddhism religion.
However, the number of tourists visiting Nepal is negligible.
“We want to welcome maximum Cambodia’s sister and brother in Lumbini” Oli said, “We are going to operate international airport at the end of this year in Bhairahawa, 22 km east of Lumbini, to help al of you.”
Prime Minister Oli expressed the belief that it will be easy for Buddhist pilgrims and other passengers to reach Lumbini now,PM Oli informed that there was a positive conversation in establishing a direct air strike between two countries.
He said that we was planning to organize International ‘Baisakh Day’ at Lumbini.
Prime Minister Oli said that Nepal was the “Virgin Land” for investment.
‘ Nepal is Virgin Land is for the investor,’ he requested to ‘Invest in any place and area, the return is certain. There is also an opportunity to invest in other areas like agriculture, water resources, herbs, service industries and financial markets.
The Prime Minister had informed to the businessmen of Cambodia that Nepal made various efforts to welcome foreign investment.
He informed the policy stability, strong regulatory mechanisms and the investment process.
