The Government of India has decided to mark the 75 years of Indian Independence with the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ event. I whole heartedly welcome this initiative and the idea of celebrating it as a Jan-Utsav across the Nation.
The celebration activities are beginning today on 12 March, 75 weeks prior to August 15, 2022. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi will start this campaign today by launching the Independence March from the Sabarmati Ashram.
All the programs related to ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ will also be organized in all the states and union territories of India. I feel extremely proud to be a part of this activity which glorifies the dignity and grand history of our country.
Independence reminds us of the struggle, sacrifice & martyrdom of the great freedom fighters of our country who gave up their lives for us. I convey my best wishes to ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ event by gratefully remembering the Supreme sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
