India Slams Pakistani Field Marshal’s Nuclear Threat: ‘No to Blackmail, No to Intimidation

New Delhi, 12 August 025.  India has strongly reacted to Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir’s nuclear war threat during his US visit, calling it an example of Pakistan’s reckless mindset where the military is aligned with terrorists and democracy is virtually absent.

Speaking at an event in Florida, Munir warned that if India built a dam on the Indus River, Pakistan would “hit it with ten missiles” and, in the event of war, “take half the world down with us.”

India’s Ministry of External Affairs made it clear that the country will not bow to nuclear blackmail and will take all necessary measures to safeguard its national security. Government sources added, “Whenever the US supports the Pakistani Army, they show their true colors. The next step could be a coup in Pakistan, making the Field Marshal the President.”

Munir’s statement is being seen as the first time a nuclear threat has been issued against a third country from American soil, sparking concerns in the international community.
