Kathmandu, 23 may. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated the Indian counterpart Narendra Modi by calling on him.
Prime Minister’s political advisor Vishnu Rimal said that there was telephone contact between Oli and Modi. Prime Minister Oli called on Modi and congratulate him for successful general elections and welcomed the best wishes of successful work.
Earlier, Prime Minister Oli had congratulated Modi for the election results on Twitter. Oli expressed the desire to work closely with him, saying ‘land slide waitress’.
Similarly Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah for winning the election.
Today, sending separate letters to Shah and Modi, Deuba has greeted both of them.
