This incident is not merely a crime; it is a mirror reflecting our social insensitivity, moral decay, and the severe failure of our security systems.<\/div>\n
Little girls are considered the most delicate and fiercely protected heritage of any society. Parents send them out to play and to school with trust, relying on the society around them. But when even a three-year-old girl falls victim to sexual violence, this fundamental trust is shattered. Today, a deep-seated fear has taken root in the minds of every parent: is their daughter truly safe?<\/div>\n
This is not an isolated incident. Over the past few years, cases of sexual violence and the murder of children have continuously come to light. After every incident, outrage erupts in society, protests are held, and justice is demanded; but after a short while, everything seems to return to business as usual. The question remains: will mere outrage keep our daughters safe?<\/div>\n
This agony is not Garima\u2019s alone. It is the pain of every girl and every woman who faces violence, harassment, or insecurity in one form or another. Sometimes within the home, sometimes on the streets, sometimes in schools, and sometimes at the workplace\u2014the forms of violence against women keep changing, but the trauma remains the same.<\/div>\n
If a society that constantly boasts of civilization and modernity cannot protect its daughters, what meaning do its claims of development hold? Talk of women\u2019s dignity and respect should not be limited to political speeches and slogans. Until the mindset of society changes, laws alone will never be sufficient.<\/div>\n

Women\u2019s rights activists have rightfully demanded a fair and swift investigation, stringent punishment for the culprits, security for the victim\u2019s family, and a robust framework for child safety. This demand is not just for one case, but for the safety of the entire society.<\/div>\n
Stringent laws are necessary, but what is even more essential is their impartial and effective implementation. No matter how influential a criminal might be, they must not be allowed to escape due to political, social, or economic pressure. Simultaneously, families, schools, and society at large must fulfill their responsibility to provide a safe environment for children and raise awareness against sexual violence.<\/div>\n
Society Must Introspect<\/b><\/div>\n
Today, the need is not only to punish the guilty but to deeply reflect on the kind of society we are building for our children. If innocent childhood is not safe, it is a collective failure of our entire society. We must keep our empathy alive, accord the highest priority to the dignity and safety of our daughters, and adopt a strict zero-tolerance policy towards such horrific incidents.<\/div>\n
The death of an innocent child like Garima sends us a harsh message\u2014it is no longer the time to remain silent. A safe childhood is every daughter\u2019s fundamental right, not a favor bestowed upon her. Until society, the government, the law, and the citizens collectively prioritize the safety of women and little girls, the agonizing question will arise time and again: how long will these atrocities against women continue?<\/div>\n
The truest tribute to Garima will be when justice is not limited to just one case, but when we build a society where every girl can smile without fear, and every parent can confidently say\u2014our daughters are safe.<\/div>\n
