New Delhi, Tuesday, October 28, 2025: Two distinguished names in India\u2019s para sports movement \u2014 international para cricketer and coach Sangeet Chauhan from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, and Mahendra Singh from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh \u2014 were honoured in the national capital for their exemplary role in promoting inclusive sports, especially para cricket.<\/p>\n
Both the athletes were felicitated at the Foreign Correspondents\u2019 Club of South Asia by author Prof. S.S. Dogra, Founder of Creatives World Media Academy.<\/p>\n
Highlighting their accomplishments, Prof. Dogra noted that Sangeet, who is also the Founder of the Para Cricket Club of India, and Mahendra, General Secretary of the Modern Pythian Games, stand as inspiring figures for thousands of aspiring para athletes across the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir determination and commitment prove that sporting excellence knows no physical limitations,\u201d he said, lauding the duo for breaking barriers and strengthening the voice of para athletes in India.<\/p>\n
