Kathmandu, July 14, 2025. In a move aimed at enhancing the inclusiveness and sustainability of Nepal\u2019s social protection framework, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) and the Social Security Fund (SSF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the implementation and promotion of the country\u2019s Social Security System.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MoU was officially signed in Kathmandu by CA. Bimal Dangol, Executive Director of ICAN, and CA. Kabiraj Adhikari, Executive Director of SSF. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of CA. Prabin Kumar Jha, President of ICAN, alongside senior officials from both institutions.<\/p>\n

Under this agreement, ICAN and SSF will jointly work to raise awareness among accounting professionals and the broader private sector regarding Nepal\u2019s social security provisions. The partnership seeks to leverage the expertise and outreach capacity of chartered accountants to increase participation in the system, support compliance, and enhance transparency.\"IMG<\/p>\n
