U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that his administration is considering imposing additional sanctions on Russia in response to the ongoing war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a Cabinet meeting at the White House, President Trump stated that he is reviewing a Senate bill that proposes stricter measures against Moscow. The proposed legislation includes heavy tariffs on countries importing energy from Russia and sanctions on foreign companies that support Russian energy production.<\/p>\n
The President also disclosed that the U.S. Department of Defense has approved the resumption of defensive arms shipments to Ukraine, which had been temporarily halted pending a strategic review.<\/p>\n
