Kathmandu, 11 December 202. Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Kathmandu in collaboration with Hotel Aloft<\/span><\/p>\n

Kathmandu organized Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Indian Food Festival named \u2018Flavors of Kashmir\u2019 on 10
\nDec 2022. The festival showcased authentic Kashmiri cuisine from India, with dishes being curated by
\nIndian Celebrity Chef, Sanjay Raina. The \u2018Flavours of Kashmir\u2019 festival was inaugurated by Mr. Vinay
\nMohan Kwatra, the Ambassador of India to Nepal.
\n2. The food festival will be held from December 10-19, 2021 at Hotel Aloft in Thamel, Kathmandu.
\nKnown throughout India and the world as \u2018Paradise on Earth\u2019, Kashmir is blessed not only with natural
\nbeauty, but also a heritage of divine cuisine.
\n3. A wide spread of delightful delicasies includes- KASHMIRI PULAO, RISTA, GUSHTABA, TABAKMOZ, LAL
\nCHICKEN, KEBAB, FIRNI among others.
\n4. The event was organized as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, an initiative of the Government of
\nIndia to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of India’s independence. It was also a curtain-raiser for a
\nseries of AzadiKaAmritMahotsav Indian Food Festival in Nepal.
\n5. At the inauguration ceremony cultural performances showcasing Kashmir\u2019s rich heritage were
\nperformed by the artists of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre.
