October 28, 2021,Birgunj. As part of celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (India @ 75) and to commemorate the Vigilance Awareness Week (October 26-Nov-01, 2021), the Consulate General of India in Birgunj organized a Walkathon on October 28, 2021. The event was flagged-off by the Consul General of India Shri Nitesh Kumar at 0700 hours.The route of the march was CGI, Birgunj-Ghantaghar- Maistahan- Adarshnagar-Alkahiyamath Chowk- Hotel Kailash Chowk- Ghariarhwa Pokhari- Maisthan Chowk- CGI, Birgunj.<\/span><\/p>\n

Local eminent personalities like MLA Ramesh Prasad Kurmi, CDO Shri Umesh Prasad Dhakal, SP-APF Shri Rajendra Khadka , SP-NID Shri Tikaram Pokhrel, President of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industries Shri Subodh Gupta, Industrialist Shri Ashok Baid, members of the Rotary Limb Project and Green City NGO and others participated in the walkathon.<\/p>\n
