when the world beyond the boundary walls appears as fantasis,<\/div>\n
away from this confined boundary of our homes,<\/div>\n
into that heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n

Where the mind is full of fear, with the face covered by mask,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
where the fear of death has overshadowed the pleasure of living!<\/div>\n
Away from this deluge of tension and anxiety,<\/div>\n
Into that heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Where Corona virus is the new demon to destroy civilisation,<\/span><\/div>\n
When from China to USA, chaos and uncertainty define the new world order!<\/div>\n
Yet the head of Indian state, undeterred and unafraid, prescribed\u00a0 banging of thalis and lighting of wicks as the panacea for cure!<\/div>\n
away from this magical world of the world’s magician,<\/div>\n
Into that heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
When the unthought of lockdown brought untold hardship,<\/div>\n
where the citizens fled their cities and towns in quest for a safe Haven!<\/div>\n
where the well off watched from the balcony, with a sense of schadenfreude, thousands walking in hunger and starvation!<\/div>\n
away from this world of blatant insensitivity and cynicism,<\/div>\n
into the heaven of freedom my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Notwithstanding the nation caught in inescapable trap,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
the Corona virus returning with a greater vengeance!<\/div>\n
Modi’s Ashwamedh yajna shall continue unhindered,<\/div>\n
Even when the nation is torn asunder!<\/div>\n
away from this political quagmire,<\/div>\n
into that heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
With Corona degenerating into apocalypse,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
the bustling metropolitan boulevards turning into graveyards,<\/div>\n
graveyards transforming into\u00a0 bustling thoroughfares!<\/div>\n
With humanity increasingly hiding in their homes,<\/div>\n
frightened of contracting pandemic!<\/div>\n
away from this spectre of morbidity,<\/div>\n
into the heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
When the economy is in tailspin, with\u00a0 unemployment all time high, Chinese snarling at our throat, nation in deep distress!\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
But the Prime Minister\u00a0 ever in election mode, where governance assumes the back seat, yet election cannot!<\/div>\n
away from this circus jamboree,<\/div>\n
into that heaven of freedom my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
When the lion of Gir fiercely locked in a battle of one upmanship with the royal Bengal tigress,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
hotting up the debate of Bengali versus Bahari!<\/div>\n
‘Didi O Didi’, Modi addresses Mamata,<\/div>\n
’emperor sans cloth’, shots back Mahua!<\/div>\n
away from this ongoing whataboutery,<\/div>\n
into the heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
When the pitiable cry of the nation rendered the world bewildered,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
especially with Modi patting his back, sounded a reminder!<\/div>\n
‘all is well’, with India driving away Corona,<\/div>\n
with an egg at his face, Modi admitted that his comment was a jumla!<\/div>\n
stunned nation recoiled to its shell,<\/div>\n
with everything in abeyance, Corona became the only dread!<\/div>\n
away from this repeated jumla,<\/div>\n
into the heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n

With the lengthening shadow of Corona spelling doom,\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
the hospitals without oxygen are driving away the patient fools!<\/div>\n
With the graveyards falling short of space,<\/div>\n
56 inch chest yelling ‘I am the best’!<\/div>\n
with the agonised nation crying in deep distress,<\/div>\n
leaving politicians bereft of any stress!<\/div>\n
away from this pitiful spectacle,<\/div>\n
Into the heaven of freedom, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Will there ever be a new\u00a0 resplendent dawn?<\/span><\/div>\n
the bliss that adorned their faces will ever replace the ghoulish frown!<\/div>\n
But the world sustains on faith and confidence,<\/div>\n
where anything can happen and nothing is redundant!<\/div>\n
during such time of utter helplessness,<\/div>\n
the continuous faith in divine is the surer way to fearlessness!<\/div>\n
He alone can take us towards the sunlit path of ‘mind without fear’,<\/div>\n
into that heaven of freedom where we have none to fear!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0But for that to happen, man must let go his hubris of being a conqueror!<\/span><\/div>\n
surrendering before the Mother Nature his ego of being a suppressor!<\/div>\n
much like the obedient son of the famous story of Casabianca,<\/div>\n
man must burn his ego capitulating at nature’s supremacy,<\/div>\n
Mother Nature, taking the humanity back to her bosom in the sign and symbol of an eternal reunion!<\/div>\n
into that heaven of freedom where mother and son re-unite in a bond of eternal reunion, my father let my country awake!<\/div>\n
