Life of a girl child<\/strong><\/span>\r\n\r\nOnce upon a time, there was a girl of nine\r\nThe talent she possessed was like a gold-mine\r\nHappy and chirpy, she lived a life of a blessed child\r\nNever did she stop asking questions beginning with why\r\n\r\nShe loved her class;studied, played and always had a blast\r\nShe walked to school in the sun and rain, more than an hour and a half\r\nThat one teacher in her school taught English, Nepali and Math\r\nEasywas for her to grasp all lessons and tables by-heart\r\n\r\nShe finished grade five in the school that was considered close-by\r\nFinding other school for sixth was a huge challenge to fix\r\nThere was no chance for parents to take the moving risk\r\nSulked she at home and found no options to match and mix\r\n\r\nLeft was she in tears with no possibilities to grow and shine\r\nIn agony, she walked to the old school, observed children play and solemnly whine\r\nShe craved for magic to happen so as tofollow her pursuit\r\nLittle did she know that girls here had no right to choose\r\n\r\nGrim became her life, when she succumbed to a man as wife\r\nLittle freedom that she had with her parents evaporated in the sky\r\nCrushed were all her dreams, bruised were her emotions\r\nLife became a burden to carry on with no meaningful reasons\r\n\r\nUntil the tiny toddler jumped into her arms, life for her had no charm\r\nHope she saw in this little being, quietly promised to change the flow of streams\r\nSilently she prayed, the fate of this child was never going to be like mine\r\nDetermined was she to support the childas long as shewas alive\r\n\r\nPraise she showered in abundance, to sharpen her heart and mind\r\nNever tired herself from answering all her questions of any kind\r\nShe taught her to fight, not consent to things that didn\u2019t seem to her right\r\nTold her to remain firm even if the whole world was not by her side\r\n\r\nNowhere in this universe, is a girl alone with challenges of her own\r\nAll she needs is a collective of companions and their support to champion\r\nGiving up without challenge is the worst enemy that stops a girl to grow\r\nStrong willpower to break unequal relations is the only medicine to cure\r\n\r\nGirls of twenty first century have many more opportunities than that of before\r\nThey should not settle with anythingthat put them low\r\nUnited, it is easier to win discrimination battles, little push, plenty of support serve as raffles\r\nFight of the one is plight of all, one day all girls will win, there is no doubt at all.<\/strong><\/span><\/pre>\n
