Bharatanatyam dancer Mishika was honored by Nishchintam Academy at the Delhi Tamil Sangam.

Under the auspices of Nishchintam Dance and Music Academy, after the ceremonial lighting of the lamp at the Delhi Tamil Sangam auditorium, Dr. Acharya Tripti Kalra’s disciple Mishika Gupta performed her Arangetram (first public dance). Mishika, a 10th-grade student of Bal Bharti School, Dwarka, captivated the audience by performing for an hour and a half, showcasing various styles of the South Indian classical dance, Bharatanatyam.

The chief guest of the event was Kuchipudi dancer Meenu Thakur, and the special guests included Dr. Manoj (Cultural Secretary – Directorate of Education, Delhi Government), Vidushi Ratna Lahiri, R. Mukundan (Secretary, Delhi Tamil Sangam), Harmeet Singh, and writer Prof. S.S. Dogra, who all wished talented Mishika a bright future in their addresses. The Arangetram concluded with Mishika being awarded a certificate of appreciation by Acharya Tripti Kalra in the presence of her parents, Ruchika Gupta and Neeraj Gupta. The event was hosted by Sumiran and Niharika.
